E LA SOFFERENZA DEI CRISTIANI… DOVE LA METTIAMO ?
Mi piace ricordare a tutti che nel mondo la sofferenza non è esclusiva solo di chi scappa dal proprio paese in cerca di una vita migliore e decide di andare in un paese più ricco, come anche non esistono le sofferenze solo per i migranti economici ai confini della Polonia con la Bielorussia o quelli nel mar Mediterraneo oppure, non bisogna solamente “accentrare le luci dei media” e le attenzioni per i rohingya, minoranza di religione islamica, che scappano dalla Birmania o gli uiguri, anche loro una minoranza islamica che vive in Cina, perseguitati dal regime cinese da sempre. No… spiace evidenziarlo in negativo ma nel mondo non ci sono solo loro che soffrono per la cattiveria di altri, ma c’è la grande comunità cristiana, che mi sta particolarmente a cuore, che da sempre soffre “le pene dell’inferno” e continuano a vivere in povertà assoluta, non solo poveri ma soprattutto perseguitati ed emarginati e vittime dai fedeli di altra religione, il tutto in “salsa odio” e condito dal disinteresse dei governi dei paesi in cui… “cercano di sopravvivere”, loro incredibilmente sono comunità indesiderate in tantissimi paesi dell’Asia e dell’Africa… questo per completare il quadro della desolazione. Ma le sofferenze dei citati milioni di cristiani non si limitano solo a quelle fisiche perché nei paesi occidentali da alcuni anni, tragicomica realtà, non contenti di quello che patiscono i cristiani nel mondo, indifferenti alle loro inenarrabili sofferenze, i media e radical chic ci regalano il peggio del peggio proprio nel “meraviglioso mondo occidentale progressista europeo”… Già, tu non ti aspetti una roba del genere ma poi accade che ti trovi un giorno alle soglie del Natale un bel poster pubblicitario dove la nostra Beata Vergine Maria viene sostituita da un disgustoso giovane uomo con la barba e con in braccio il futuro Messia e con indosso l’abito sacro per noi cristiani, una foto che dovrebbe ricordarci la natività ed invece sollecita al vomito perpetuo ! Senza contare poi tutte le innumerevoli situazioni nelle quali si offende gratuitamente la religione cristiana e i suoi sacri personaggi e non si capisce il perché… già, offesi, derisi e beffeggiati per amore della satira politica e religiosa… e no cari signori tutti, perché con questo modo di fare si è quindi nella piena opera dell’apostasia e nella apoteosi del concetto di blasfemia allo stato puro ed è chiaro che lo si perpetra solo a danno della cristianità e sempre in modo estremo che non riscontro mai, guarda caso, contro le altre convinzioni religiose e con pari intensità… e già, perché dai vignettisti ed artisti occidentali non ravviso mai una satira religiosa, pari a quella dedicata al cristianesimo, rivolta all’Islam o al suo personaggio chiave… Maometto… e il perché non viene ridicolizzato come la nostra Madonna o Gesù Cristo è evidente che non viene fatto solo per mera paura e terrore di attentati. E se così è allora mi chiedo perché non portate lo stesso rispetto per noi cristiani o aspettate anche da loro degli attentati ? Come anche mi chiedo : perché tutti si dimenticano delle sofferenze dei cristiani che vivono nella estrema povertà e malattie senza che non c’è mai qualcuno che si spende per loro nessuno ? Quel mi rattrista e che non odo parole di conforto e di speranza e di aiuto per tutti i cristiani del mondo e noto , con notevole disappunto, che i media e politici e i “famosi buonisti“ risultano sempre assenti quando c’è un problema legato ai fedeli cristiani, ricordo a tutti che in Africa, negli ultimi anni ci sono state migliaia di morti ammazzati ed alcuni di loro sono morti perchè bruciati vivi insieme alle chiese mentre pregavano. Poveri, malati, soli a Natale: non dimentichiamo i cristiani che soffrono in Libano, Siria e India. Lo tsunami del Covid rischia di farci lasciare da parte la solidarietà nei confronti di chi è più sfortunato di noi, che viviamo in un Paese con molte pecche, ma dove si lotta per uscire dal tunnel della pandemia. In Libano i cristiani hanno fame e talvolta non riescono a trovare da mangiare ogni giorno per le loro famiglie. In Siria il sistema sanitario devastato dalla guerra non riesce a garantire le cure soprattutto ai cristiani più anziani. In India il flagello del virus sta mietendo vittime fra la popolazione cristiana più povera.
Proprio il Covid, che ci ha sbattuto brutalmente di fronte alla malattia e alla morte deve servire a metterci una mano sul cuore nel giorno più sacro dell’anno, non solo per la nascita di Gesù Cristo, ma per il ritrovarsi assieme in famiglia. Per questo il Giornale appoggia la campagna di Aiuto alla Chiesa che soffre con l’obiettivo di regalare alle comunità cristiane in difficoltà un Natale migliore.
L’esplosione al porto di Beirut, dell’agosto 2020, ha messo in ginocchio il Paese. La fondazione pontificia Acs è impegnata in 15 progetti di riparazione degli edifici religiosi danneggiati compresa la cattedrale di San Giorgio e le chiese SS. Salvatore e San Giuseppe a Beirut. La catastrofica esplosione ha fatto crollare il sistema politico ed economico. Il potere d’acquisto degli stipendi è ridotto a un decimo, il tasso di povertà arriva al 74% ed i prezzi dei beni di consumo sono aumentati fino al 120%.
La corrente elettrica arriva a singhiozzo perché il Paese non ha più la valuta pregiata per comprare il combustibile per le centrali. Talvolta non c’è elettricità per 20 ore al giorno. Gli ospedali sono allo stremo e hanno ridotto drasticamente l’attività. Lo spettro della fame è un incubo presente, tangibile e reale. Il primo regalo di Acs per il Libano è semplicemente “cibo” per 2500 famiglie cristiane di Zahleh attraverso la diocesi di Furzol nella valle della Beqaa. Zucchero, latte, riso, pane che verrano distribuiti dai sacerdoti alla fine della Messa come “cibo della speranza”.
Nella vicina e tribolata Siria la fondazione pontificia ha già realizzato 78 iniziative umanitarie e ristrutturato 11 luoghi di culto danneggiati o distrutti dai combattimenti. Dopo 10 anni di follia armata la popolazione continua a patire in un Paese dove il sistema sanitario è all’anno zero. Oggi in Siria, se va bene, c’è un medico ogni 10mila abitanti. Il 70% del personale sanitario è fuggito all’estero. Il risultato è che l’aspettativa di vita risulta ridotta di 15 anni per gli uomini e 10 per le donne. La pandemia sferza Damasco, Aleppo, Homs e Latakia, ma è alto il numero dei malati cronici che rischiano di venire abbandonati al loro destino. Acs, come secondo regalo di Natale, vuole garantire le cure mediche a 150 malati cristiani di Homs.
In India la pandemia ha raggiunto livelli drammatici. Non ci sono posti letto sufficienti e mancano pure le bombole ad ossigeno. Le ripercussioni sociali sono devastanti: a cominciare dai tanti poveri assoldati a giornata, che si sono trovati senza lavoro per il lockdown. Le zone rurali sono abbandonate a se stesse. Aiuto alla chiesa che soffre ha deciso, come terzo regalo di Natale, di aiutare 190 sacerdoti e 800 suore nella loro opera di carità nei confronti dei malati e dei poveri.
Sotto l’albero non dimentichiamo le morti silenziose per il Covid, la morsa della fame e la disperazione dei fratelli cristiani lontani da noi, ma vicini nel cuore.

Poor, sick, alone at Christmas: let’s not forget the Christians who suffer in Lebanon, Syria and India. The Covid tsunami risks making us leave aside solidarity with those who are more unfortunate than us, who live in a country with many flaws, but where we struggle to get out of the pandemic tunnel. In Lebanon, Christians are hungry and sometimes cannot find food for their families every day. In Syria, the war-torn health system fails to guarantee treatment especially to Christians anymore elderly people. In India, the scourge of the virus is claiming victims among the poorest Christian population.
Covid itself, which hit us brutally in the face of illness and death, must serve to put a hand on our hearts on the holiest day of the year, not only for the birth of Jesus Christ, but for being together in the family. This is why Il Giornale supports the Aid to the Church in Need campaign with the aim of giving Christian communities in difficulty a better Christmas.
The explosion at the port of Beirut in August 2020 brought the country to its knees. The Acs pontifical foundation is involved in 15 repair projects for damaged religious buildings including the cathedral of San Giorgio and the churches of SS. Savior and Saint Joseph in Beirut. Aid to the Church in Need has decided, as a third Christmas present, to help 190 priests and 800 nuns in their work of charity towards the sick and the poor.

J’aime rappeler à tous que dans le monde la souffrance n’est pas exclusive à ceux qui fuient leur pays à la recherche d’une vie meilleure et décident d’aller dans un pays plus riche, tout comme il n’y a pas de souffrance uniquement pour les migrants économiques aux frontières de la Pologne avec la Biélorussie ou ceux de la mer Méditerranée ou, il ne faut pas seulement « centraliser les lumières des médias » et l’attention pour les Rohingya, minorité de religion islamique, qui fuient la Birmanie ou les Ouïghours, également minorité islamique vivant en Chine, qui ont toujours été persécutés par le régime chinois. Non… désolé de le souligner négativement mais dans le monde il n’y a pas que ceux qui souffrent de la méchanceté des autres, mais il y a la grande communauté chrétienne, qui me tient particulièrement à coeur, qui a toujours souffert ” les douleurs de l’enfer “Et continuer à vivre dans une pauvreté absolue, non seulement pauvres mais surtout persécutés et marginalisés et victimes des fidèles d’autres religions, tous en “sauce haineuse” et assaisonnés par le désintérêt des gouvernements des pays dans lesquels… ” ils essaient de survivre “, ce sont des communautés incroyablement indésirables dans tant de pays d’Asie et d’Afrique… c’est pour compléter le tableau de la désolation. Mais les souffrances des millions de chrétiens susmentionnés ne se limitent pas aux seules physiques car dans les pays occidentaux depuis quelques années, la réalité tragi-comique, mécontents de ce que souffrent les chrétiens dans le monde, indifférents à leurs souffrances indicibles, les médias et le chic radical donnent nous le pire du pire dans le “merveilleux monde occidental progressiste européen”… Ouais, tu ne t’attends pas à une telle chose mais alors il arrive qu’un jour tu te retrouves au seuil de Noël une jolie affiche publicitaire où notre Bienheureux La Vierge Marie est remplacée par un jeune homme dégoûtant avec une barbe et tenant le futur Messie dans ses bras et portant le vêtement sacré pour nous chrétiens, une photo qui devrait nous rappeler la nativité et nous pousse plutôt à vomir perpétuellement ! Sans parler de toutes les innombrables situations dans lesquelles la religion chrétienne et ses personnages sacrés sont offensés gratuitement et on ne sait pas pourquoi … oui, offensés, moqués et moqués au nom de la satire politique et religieuse … et non mon cher messieurs tous , car avec cette façon de faire on est donc en plein travail d’ apostasie et dans l’ apothéose du concept de blasphème à l’ état pur et il est clair qu’il ne se perpétue qu’au détriment du christianisme et toujours à l’ extrême façon que je ne trouve jamais, par hasard, contre d’autres convictions religieuses et avec une intensité égale… et oui, car les dessinateurs et artistes occidentaux ne voient jamais une satire religieuse, égale à celle consacrée au christianisme, visant l’islam ou son personnage clé… Mohammed… et pourquoi ce n’est pas ridiculisé comme notre Madone ou Jésus-Christ, il est évident que cela n’est pas fait uniquement par peur et terreur des attaques. Et si c’est le cas, alors je me demande pourquoi vous n’avez pas le même respect pour nous chrétiens ou vous attendez aussi à des attaques de leur part ? Comme je me demande aussi : pourquoi tout le monde oublie-t-il les souffrances des chrétiens qui vivent dans l’extrême pauvreté et la maladie sans qu’il y ait jamais quelqu’un qui ne dépense personne pour elles ? Cela m’attriste et que je n’entends pas de paroles de réconfort, d’espoir et d’aide pour tous les chrétiens du monde et je constate, avec une grande déception, que les médias et les politiciens et les “célèbres bienfaisants” sont toujours absents lorsqu’il y a un problème lié aux fidèles chrétiens, je rappelle à tous qu’en Afrique, ces dernières années, il y a eu des milliers de morts et certains d’entre eux sont morts parce qu’ils ont été brûlés vifs avec les églises pendant qu’ils priaient. Pauvres, malades, seuls à Noël : n’oublions pas les chrétiens qui souffrent au Liban, en Syrie et en Inde. Le tsunami du Covid risque de nous faire laisser de côté la solidarité avec ceux qui sont plus malheureux que nous, qui vivent dans un pays avec de nombreux défauts, mais où nous avons du mal à sortir du tunnel pandémique. Au Liban, les chrétiens ont faim et parfois ne peuvent pas trouver de nourriture pour leurs familles tous les jours. En Syrie, le système de santé déchiré par la guerre ne garantit plus de traitement, en particulier pour les chrétiens personnes âgées. En Inde, le fléau du virus fait des victimes parmi la population chrétienne la plus pauvre.
Le Covid lui-même, qui nous a durement frappés face à la maladie et à la mort, doit servir à mettre la main sur nos cœurs le jour le plus saint de l’année, non seulement pour la naissance de Jésus-Christ, mais pour être ensemble en famille. C’est pourquoi Il Giornale soutient la campagne Aide à l’Église en Détresse dans le but d’offrir aux communautés chrétiennes en difficulté un meilleur Noël.

Le premier cadeau d’ACS pour le Liban est tout simplement de la “nourriture” pour 2500 familles chrétiennes de Zahlé à travers le diocèse de Furzol dans la vallée de la Bekaa. Du sucre, du lait, du riz, du pain qui seront distribués par les prêtres à la fin de la messe comme “nourriture d’espérance”.
Dans la Syrie voisine et troublée, la fondation pontificale a déjà mené 78 actions humanitaires et restructuré 11 lieux de culte endommagés ou détruits par les combats. Après 10 ans de folie armée, la population continue de souffrir dans un pays où le système de santé est à l’an zéro. Aujourd’hui en Syrie, si tout va bien, il y a un médecin pour 10 000 habitants. 70 % des personnels de santé ont fui à l’étranger. Il en résulte que l’espérance de vie est réduite de 15 ans pour les hommes et de 10 ans pour les femmes. La pandémie frappe Damas, Alep, Homs et Lattaquié, mais le nombre de malades chroniques qui risquent d’être abandonnés à leur sort est élevé. ACS, comme deuxième cadeau de Noël, veut garantir la prise en charge médicale de 150 malades chrétiens à Homs.
En Inde, la pandémie a atteint des niveaux dramatiques. Il n’y a pas assez de lits et il n’y a pas non plus de bouteilles d’oxygène. Les répercussions sociales sont dévastatrices : à commencer par les nombreuses embauches à la journée, qui se sont retrouvées sans travail à cause du confinement. Les zones rurales sont livrées à elles-mêmes. L’Aide à l’Église en Détresse a décidé, comme troisième cadeau de Noël, d’aider 190 prêtres et 800 religieuses dans leur œuvre de charité envers les malades et les pauvres.
Sous l’arbre n’oublions pas les morts silencieuses du Covid, l’étau de la faim et le désespoir de nos frères chrétiens loin de nous, mais proches du cœur.
