CI PORTERÀ ALLA GUERRA !
Certo che sul piano diplomatico il neo presidente USA è proprio un disastro, dopo due mesi esatti dal suo insediamento registriamo un’offensiva, inusuale per un presidente, contro la Russia e nei fatti si è ritornati alla guerra fredda, scenario inedito anche perché con la Cina non è che vada meglio dopo i suoi continui appunti minacciosi ed esternazioni pungenti per la questione Hong Kong… ora avvertiamo un “tono da sceriffo” contro la Birmania che si fa forte nella repressione contro il popolo perché protetta dalla Cina. La scena internazionale non è una competizione elettorale “caro Joe Biden”… è dai buoni rapporti diplomatici che si crea ricchezza negli scambi commerciali a beneficio della collettività globale e si mantiene la pace. Rammento a tutti quel che ho scritto dopo il suo ingresso alla Casa Bianca, i miei post sono sempre leggibili nel mio blog, paventavo la terribile ipotesi che il nuovo inquilino, come il suo amico e predecessore Obama, ci avrebbe regalato qualche guerra e ho sottolineato che forse il vero pazzo non era Trump ma forse… è proprio lui, e che presto ce ne saremmo accorti. Infatti oggi tanti giornalisti anti Trump e pro Biden han fatto retromarcia e iniziano a vederlo sotto un’altra luce e anche un po’ preoccupati e delusi di averlo sostenuto. E le cose stanno andando esattamente come profeticamente ipotizzavo, lui è in mano ai falchi del pentagono ed elle lobby dei produttori di armi e non mi sembra sia in grado di controbatterli anzi, fa di tutto per assecondarli. Dar dell’assassino ad un capo di un stato sovrano è una cosa estremamente grave e chi riceve l’accusa non solo viene gravemente offeso ma non può restare inerme dinanzi al suo popolo né ignorare le accuse che provengono dall’uomo più forte del mondo. Le accuse al presidente russo sono una caduta di stile diplomatico senza precedenti nel mondo diplomatico… ed è un preoccupante aumento del livello di tensione tra i due paesi e sicuramente la Russia starà già prendendo le contromisure su un eventuale conflitto armato dalle conseguenze catastrofiche, qui le cose si fanno maledettamente complicate. Tutti si lamentavano di Trump e lo definivano un pazzo… e volevano anche togliergli la famosa valigetta dei codici per i missili Intercontinentali… ma il nuovo inquilino non è che lo vedo mentalmente stabile e secondo me, gli americani dovrebbero ritornare al voto prima che si trovino coinvolti in una terza guerra mondiale senza saperne il perché. È veramente difficile e complicato capire la sua personalità, a me dà l’impressione di essere un po’ disturbato, come i schizofrenici… uomo dalla doppia personalità, perché le cose che dice a volte, come nel caso di Putin, sono pericolose e incredibilmente stupide ! Boh… speriamo che a qualcuno gli venga in mente di rimuoverlo. Intanto in serata ci giunge notizia che l’ambasciatore russo negli Usa è stato richiamato in patria per consultazioni… un bellissimo inizio, come dire : roviniamo tutto in 100 giorni !

DALL’INVIATO A NEW YORK. Vladimir Putin è un killer, e pagherà un prezzo per le interferenze nelle elezioni americane dell’anno scorso. Forse il presidente Biden è andato anche oltre quello che aveva previsto di dire, durante l’intervista di ieri sera con George Stephanopoulos mandata in onda dalla televisione Abc. Ma il suo giudizio franco e diretto dimostra come sia cambiata nettamente la linea verso la Russia, rispetto alla prudenza sospetta di Donald Trump. Proprio ieri pomeriggio, prima dell’intervista, la direzione nazionale dell’intelligence Usa aveva pubblicato un rapporto che accusava Mosca di aver cercato di influenzare le elezioni del 2020, come aveva fatto nel 2016. Anche in questo caso l’obiettivo era screditare l’avversario di Trump, stavolta Biden invece di Hillary Clinton. Il documento poi rimproverava all’Iran di aver tentato il contrario, ossia interferire nel voto per boicottare il capo della Casa Bianca che era uscito dall’accordo nucleare. Nessuno dei due paesi però è riuscito a compromettere le operazioni elettorali, ad esempio cambiando i risultati in qualche seggio, mentre la Cina non aveva tentato di intervenire.
Biden: “Putin un assassino, pagherà un prezzo per le interferenze”
Stephanopoulos ha chiesto al presidente di commentare il rapporto dell’intelligence, e lui ha risposto così: «Putin pagherà un prezzo. Abbiamo avuto una lunga conversazione, io e lui. Lo conosco relativamente bene. E all’inizio della conversazione gli ho detto: “Io conosco te, e tu conosci me. Se arriverò alla conclusione che ciò è avvenuto, preparati». Con questo ovviamente intendeva di prepararsi alle conseguenze, al prezzo da pagare. Allora Stephanopoulos lo ha incalzato, facendo riferimento al trattamento dei dissidenti come Navalny: «Quindi lei conosce Putin. Pensa che sia un killer?». Biden ha riflettuto un istante, e poi ha risposo: «Lo credo».
Il capo della Casa Bianca non ha specificato le possibili punizioni, ma ha aggiunto che «possiamo nello stesso tempo camminare e masticare una gomma, dove fosse nel nostro interesse lavorare insieme. L’ho dimostrato prolungando il trattato New Start sulle armi nucleari». Il Cremlino ha subito risposto alle accuse di Biden, rigettandole come «un attacco alla Russia». La realtà però è che il clima e la linea sono cambiati. Trump durante tutto il mandato ha sempre evitato di criticare Putin, per ragioni che ancora oggi non sono state del tutto chiarite. L’ex presidente non voleva ammettere le interferenze nelle elezioni del 2016, perché ciò avrebbe messo in dubbio la stessa legittimità della sua vittoria. Inoltre c’era il sospetto che avesse colluso con Mosca nelle operazioni per influenzare il voto, e che avesse interessi personali da cui dipendeva il suo atteggiamento sottomesso a Vladimir. Da qui era nata l’inchiesta del “Russiagate”, che non aveva trovato le prove della collusione, ma neanche aveva chiarito appieno le scelte di Trump. Biden e i democratici ritengono che Putin li abbia attaccati, perché fin dall’amministrazione Obama il capo del Cremlino accusava Washington, e in particolare la segretaria di Stato Hillary Cinton, di aver fomentato le proteste in Ucraina e in Russia per farlo cadere. Ora le vecchie ruggini si ripresentano nel rapporto tra la nuova amministrazione e Mosca. A questo però si aggiunge anche il fatto che Biden ha rimesso il rispetto dei diritti umani e la promozione della democrazia al centro della politica estera americana, e ciò gli impedisce di tollerare gli abusi di Putin, come il tentativo di eliminare il suo oppositore Navalny. La nuova linea quindi è quella che il capo della Casa Bianca ha riassunto nella volontà di «camminare e masticare una gomma nello stesso tempo». Dove sarà possibile dialogare e lavorare con la Russia, nell’interesse nazionale degli Usa e dei loro alleati, lo farà; dove ci saranno divergenze, però, non farà concessioni. L’intelligence americana, ad esempio, sta completando l’analisi dei recenti attacchi digitali attribuiti agli hacker di Mosca, e le accuse secondo cui il Cremlino aveva ordinato di offrire taglie ai talebani per uccidere i soldati della missione Usa in Afghanistan. Se questi atti ostili verranno confermati, ci saranno rappresaglie. Questa nuova linea pone un dilemma anche agli alleati europei, come la Germania che vuole portare a termine la costruzione del gasdotto Nord Stream 2, o come l’Italia, che ha forti interessi energetici in Russia. Il problema è capire fino a che punto Washington sarà disposta a tollerare tali relazioni, e quando gli alleati dovranno invece fare una scelta di campo netta.

The problem is to understand to what extent Washington will be willing to tolerate such relations, and when the allies will have to make a clear choice instead.
