PROFUGHI DI … RELIGIONE !

Stacchiamo per un attimo l’attenzione e lo sguardo dalla guerra in corso e dal conflitto armato e dedichiamoci solo ai profughi, loro meritano un’attenzione particolare perché essere profughi è devastante sotto ogni profilo ed anche umiliante per chi è costretto a fuggire dal proprio Paese poiché a non farlo si rischia concretamente di perdere la propria vita, ed è comprensibile la fuga per un uomo che scappa da morte certa… specie poi quando ad essere in pericolo di vita sono anche la moglie e madre dei suoi quattro figli. Chi mi legge sicuramente starà pensando che io abbia scoperto… l’acqua calda…. ma non è così, è ovvio che quando c’è una guerra tutti tentano di scappare e salvare la propria famiglia… e ciò è un cosa naturale e rientra nel novero delle cose… Già, direi proprio che in caso di guerra la fuga per mettersi in salvo è la prassi ed un obbligo ma si fugge anche in situazioni diverse… già, infatti nella mia narrazione la guerra non “c’entra un fico secco” e la fuga è determinata e causa solo dalla conversione alla fede cristiana di una famiglia precedentemente di religione islamica, di ramo sciita, che viveva in Iran. La loro storia è una delle tante di chi decide di abiurare l’islam per abbracciare la fede di Gesù Cristo, ebbene secondo il sacro libro coranico islamico chi lo fa è condannato sistematicamente alla morte senza possibilità alcuna di perdono, deve essere punito con la morte e punto e non lo dico io ma è scritto ed il buon musulmano deve obbedire e portare a termine l’ordine scritto ed imposto… Già, è incredibile che possano esistere certi convincimenti di violenza e morte in una religione che si professa di pace e d’amore… evidentemente i mussulmani hanno un concetto un po’ particolare della  “pace ed amore”… e sicuramente molto ma molto lontano dal nostro. Ma andiamo avanti nella narrazione, sta di fatto che la famiglia convertita al cristianesimo fugge dall’Iran ed arriva in Bielorussia dove spera di trovare una via di salvezza e d’accesso al mondo occidentale e precisamente in Germania. Giunta nel Paese ai confini con l’Ucraina la famiglia presenta l’ovvia domanda di protezione per l’evidente persecuzione di origine religiosa nel loro paese d’origine. E qui che le cose si complicano… la domanda viene respinta per ben due volte e ciò lo si spiega perché la Bielorussia e l’Iran sono paesi molto legati da interessi commerciali e militari e orbitano entrambi nella sfera russa ed è logico che le Autorità bielorusse non abbiano nessuna intenzione di concedere loro asilo politico e magari compromettere i suoi “meravigliosi rapporti con gli iraniani” solo… per salvare una famiglia che ha deciso di convertirsi ad altra religione e intende vivere in pace e libera. E chissenefrega, pensano le Autorità bielorusse, se poi i genitori di quei quattro bimbi verranno “appesi al collo” in modo esemplare in una bella piazza di Teheran ad espiare la loro pena prevista e descritta nel Corano, figurarsi se hanno voglia di creare un incidente diplomatico col paese musulmano in momento molto delicato come questo, dove anche loro sono in pericolo di guerra e a breve potrebbero entrarci con tutti e due i piedi. E proprio in proiezione futura il Presidente Lukashenko ha deciso di buttar fuori dal proprio Paese tutti i profughi mediorientali, che prima aveva deliberatamente importati con le note conseguenze ai confini con la Polonia, e sicuramente tra questi c’è la povera famiglia cristiana. Magari la Polonia e la Commissione europea potrebbero far dei passi diplomatici nella direzione della Bielorussia e chiedere di poterli trasferire nell’unione e nel Paese che desiderano… visto che le persone bloccate, di numero imprecisato, non sono tante e non rappresentano un problema per nessuno e sono di facile collocazione, sì… tutti si dovrebbero muovere ed adoperarsi per salvarli e portarli in Europa e soprattutto lo Stato Vaticano potrebbe chiedere a Lukashenko di concedere il passaggio in Polonia di questi poveretti che rischiano la vita se rimpatriati. Ed in ultimo, riporto fedelmente l’appello della mamma dei quattro bambini alla comunità internazionale per dovere morale e obbligo cristiano, lei dice : «Non voglio sembrare arrogante ma ci sarà almeno una persona che possa ascoltare la mia richiesta di aiuto>> ? Bloccati in Bielorussia come tanti altri profughi mediorientali, rischiano il rimpatrio andando incontro a morte certa. È la storia incredibile di una famiglia di cristiani iraniani con quattro bambini che ha chiesto protezione umanitaria e ha invece buone probabilità di venire

rimpatriata. Le autorità bielorusse hanno respinto due volte– la seconda con una fretta sospetta – la domanda di protezione per una evidente persecuzione religiosa sconsigliando ufficiosamente di ricorrere perché al terzo diniego scatterebbe il rimpatrio.

Ma in Iran chi si converte rischia la condanna a morte per apostasia. La guerra nella vicina Ucraina sta accelerando i repulisti minacciati dagli uomini del dittatore Lukashenko ai profughi che ha fatto arrivare negli anni per usarli contro la Ue. Bisogna fare spazio agli ucraini, è il

messaggio lanciato a chi vive bloccato a Bruzgi, nel fabbricato adibito a rifugio sommario nella foresta vicino all’impenetrabile confine polacco, come a chi ha un alloggio urbano. Maryam e suo marito hanno scelto la fede cristiana evangelica sette anni fa. Quattro anni fa hanno deciso di partire per la Bielorussia per sfuggire alla grande pressione del regime di Teheran. Il loro caso è seguito dagli attivisti umanitari polacchi di Hope&Humanity e dall’Ong Gandhi Charity. Grazie a loro siamo riusciti a contattare Maryam telefonicamente. «La nostra vita in Iran era difficile, avevamo paura – spiega – perché cambiare religione è pericoloso. Molte persone ci hanno suggerito di partire per la Bielorussia. Qui abbiamo presentato domanda di asilo, per poi passare il confine ed entrare in Europa. Abbiamo parenti in Germania. Pensavamo fosse più facile».

La famiglia vive in un piccolo alloggio a Gimel, la seconda città della repubblica più fedele alla Russia di Putin. Ma marito e moglie non possono lavorare. Sopravvivono grazie all’aiuto della comunità evangelica locale e loro e i bambini di 14, 11, 7 e 4 anni ricambiano come possono, ad esempio cantando nel coro alle funzioni. «Lo Stato si è disinteressato di noi – prosegue Maryam –. Quattro mesi fa abbiamo ricevuto un sussidio dalle Nazioni unite, poi più nulla». Eppure anche la tv pubblica ha raccontato la loro storia. Li ha intervistati sulla persecuzione dei cristiani in Iran a settembre, ma non ha rispettato la promessa di oscurare i loro volti nel servizio mandato in onda e di non fornire le loro generalità, aggravandone la posizione.

I bambini patiscono molto la situazione precaria. I due più grandi hanno perso anni di scuola perché le autorità sostenevano che la loro presenza nel Paese fosse temporanea. Solo da qualche tempo li hanno ammessi. «Ma non è cambiato molto – commenta Maryam –. Hanno molti problemi a seguire le lezioni perché non hanno imparato il russo e parlano poco l’inglese. Invece i due più piccoli sono a casa tutto il giorno». La loro vicenda si è improvvisamente avvitata. Dopo che a gennaio la loro domanda di asilo è stata clamorosamente respinta, hanno presentato ricorso pensando di attendere anni o di avere ragione. Invece dopo 15 giorni è arrivata la seconda bocciatura. È il nuovo corso di Lukashenko. Prima ha invitato i profughi in Bielorussia per usarli e poi se ne sbarazza quando non servono più. «Se dovessimo presentare appello – prosegue la mamma – e perdessimo, come è probabile, saremmo rimpatriati. Ci hanno consigliato di andarcene. Non possiamo rimanere in questo limbo. Chiediamo aiuto all’Unione europea perché ci protegga e ci porti via e ci faccia ricongiungere con i nostri parenti in Germania».

Poi la voce della donna si incrina. «Non voglio sembrare arrogante – conclude disperata Maryam – ma ci sarà almeno una persona che possa ascoltare la mia richiesta di aiuto. I miei quattro bambini sono senza una casa, mi chiedo come mai questo mondo non abbia posto per sei persone. O proviamo ad attraversare la foresta per entrare in Polonia rischiando di morire. Oppure rischiamo il rimpatrio e quindi una condanna a morte per la nostra fede». L’Ue, terra di libertà che sta aiutando gli oppressi ucraini, non può restare sorda all’urlo di una famiglia che sta pagando un prezzo altissimo per la libertà religiosa.

Celui qui me lit pensera sûrement que j’ai découvert … de l’eau chaude …. mais ce n’est pas le cas, il est évident que quand il y a une guerre, tout le monde essaie de s’échapper et de sauver sa famille … et c’est un chose naturelle et rentre dans la catégorie des choses… Oui, je dirais qu’en cas de guerre, s’évader pour se sauver est la pratique et une obligation mais on s’évade aussi dans différentes situations… déjà, en fait, dans mon récit la guerre “n’a rien à voir” et la fuite n’est déterminée et provoquée que par la conversion à la foi chrétienne d’une famille anciennement de religion islamique, de branche chiite, qui vivait en Iran. Arrivée dans le pays frontalier avec l’Ukraine, la famille présente la demande évidente de protection pour la persécution évidente d’origine religieuse dans son pays d’origine. C’est là que les choses se compliquent … la demande est rejetée deux fois et cela s’explique par le fait que la Biélorussie et l’Iran sont des pays étroitement liés par des intérêts commerciaux et militaires et qu’ils orbitent tous les deux dans la sphère russe et il est logique que les autorités biélorusses n’aient aucune intention d’accorder leur accordant l’asile politique et compromettant peut-être ses “merveilleuses relations avec les Iraniens” uniquement… pour sauver une famille qui a décidé de se convertir à une autre religion et entend vivre en paix et libre. Et peu importe, pensent les autorités biélorusses, si les parents de ces quatre enfants seront « pendus au cou » de manière exemplaire sur une belle place de Téhéran pour expier leur châtiment prévu et décrit dans le Coran, encore moins s’ils veulent créer un accident diplomatique avec le pays musulman dans un moment très délicat comme celui-ci, où eux aussi sont en danger de guerre et pourraient bientôt entrer à pieds joints. Et précisément à l’avenir, le président Loukachenko a décidé d’expulser tous les réfugiés du Moyen-Orient de son pays, qu’il avait auparavant délibérément importés avec les conséquences connues à la frontière avec la Pologne, et certainement parmi ceux-ci il y a la pauvre famille chrétienne. Au lieu de cela, après 15 jours, le deuxième rejet est arrivé. C’est le nouveau parcours de Loukachenko. Il a d’abord invité des réfugiés en Biélorussie pour les utiliser, puis il s’en débarrasse lorsqu’ils ne sont plus nécessaires. « Si nous faisions appel – poursuit la mère – et que nous perdions, comme c’est probable, nous serions rapatriés. Ils nous ont conseillé de partir. Nous ne pouvons pas rester dans ces limbes. Nous demandons l’aide de l’Union européenne pour nous protéger et nous emmener et nous réunir avec nos proches en Allemagne. »

Puis la voix de la femme se brise. «Je ne veux pas paraître arrogante – conclut Maryam désespérément – mais il y aura au moins une personne qui pourra écouter ma demande d’aide. Mes quatre enfants sont sans abri, je me demande pourquoi ce monde n’a pas de place pour six personnes. Ou on essaie de traverser la forêt pour entrer en Pologne au risque de mourir. Ou nous risquons un rapatriement et donc une condamnation à mort pour notre foi ». L’UE, terre de liberté qui aide les Ukrainiens opprimés, ne peut rester sourde au cri d’une famille qui paie un prix très élevé pour la liberté religieuse.
