ANCORA UN INCIDENTE MORTALE !
Ritengo che un governo serio e il suo relativo ministero dei trasporti quando decidono di autorizzare a far circolare sulle strade un nuovo veicolo di ridotte dimensioni, come il monopattino elettrico, ma che comunque viaggia e si muove ad una velocità pari a quella di una bici sportiva, credo e penso si debba prima studiare ed approfondire l’impatto di detti piccoli mezzi nel traffico urbano e il contesto della condivisone di spazio nelle zone pedonali, nonché preoccuparsi delle eventuali ed ipotetiche conseguenze dovute alla circolazione stessa di un conducente che è obbligato a guidare in posizione eretta ed in equilibrio precario che potrebbe causare la banale caduta del conducente dal mezzo in qualunque momento, o peggio ancora a probabili incidenti che li vedrebbero coinvolti con auto e bus e moto il cui impatto sarebbe decisamente doloroso e che riporterebbero chiari danni fisici o addirittura provocherebbe anche la morte del conducente come si è già verificato in cinque occasioni solo da gennaio 2021 ad oggi. Senza poi escludere anche i “convulsi modi isterici” di guida anomala registrate e da censurare da parte di alcuni individui che del rispetto del C.d.S. se ne fregano altamente. C’è da aggiungere che consentendo la circolazione ad un numero elevato di piccoli mezzi indisciplinati questi vanno ad aggiungersi nel già congestionato traffico urbano… determinando caos e confusione in più. Ora cari governanti dei… piselli e fagiolini, ci spiegate perché non è stato disposto l’obbligo del casco al conducente esteso anche ai maggiorenni ? E perché no ad una piccola targa di riconoscimento applicata sul retro del mezzo o su una ipotetica gilet giallo indossata dal conducente durante la guida ? E perché no… ci vorrebbe anche il patentino per evitare di farli circolare in modo selvaggio tra le vie cittadine infrangendo continuamente il codice stradale e il buon senso. Ciò sarebbe significativo e limitativo… con l’unico fine d’evitare incidenti con serie conseguenze e limitare al massimo i rischi ai pedoni quando circolano da pirati sui marciapiedi anziché sulla strada o nelle zone pedonali. Ci voleva tanto capire che dovevano essere regolamentati a fondo per evitare tutti questi inconvenienti come la morte del povero adolescente? Al solito, noi prima facciamo scappare i buoi e poi chiudiamo il recinto. Nei fatti da quando sono usciti questi “maledetti monopattini elettrici” ne vediamo di tutti i colori… purtroppo creano scompiglio alla circolazione e mettono in difficoltà gli automobilisti, anche perché essendo sprovvisti di indicatori luminosi o di avvisatori acustici adeguati, e non un ridicolo campanello, appaiano e scompaiano come fantasmi ai lati delle auto Constati i puerili errori e casini vari, mi chiedo perché non si interviene immediatamente regolamentando la sua circolazione ? Sarebbe cominciata così la successione di eventi che ieri pomeriggio ha portato alla tragedia, culminata con la morte di un ragazzino di 13 anni, in seguito a un gravissimo incidente con un monopattino mentre percorreva la nuova pista ciclabile di viale Gramsci, all’altezza del parco omonimo. Proprio tra i vialetti di quel parchetto Fabio Mosca, sestese, 13 anni appena compiuti, stava trascorrendo il pomeriggio con un amico di 17 anni e insieme al padre di quest’ultimo. Il papà aveva portato con sé quel monopattino che quasi certamente è stato comprato su internet. Un mezzo dalle ruote grandi e dal motore potente, di quelli che stanno spopolando sullo shopping online, nonostante spesso si tratti di mezzi non omologati.
Non è ancora chiaro se padre e figlio abbiano accettato di far provare il mezzo al giovane amico o se lui lo abbia preso senza avvertirli. Sta di fatto che il ragazzo è riuscito ad accenderlo e a mettersi alla guida di un mezzo che impone equilibrio e controllo per poterlo condurre. Il ragazzino è uscito dal cancello. Qualche testimone dice di averlo visto sfrecciare lungo la ciclabile di viale Gramsci. Ed è proprio lì che si è consumata la tragedia. In principio si era pensato a una buca, o a un avvallamento della nuova pista ciclabile, che invece appare in buone condizioni. Sta di fatto che il mezzo si è bloccato sulla ruota anteriore e ha catapultato in avanti il corpo del ragazzino fino a farlo ricadere con violenza al suolo, dove ha battuto il viso, riportando un gravissimo trauma cranico che lo ha portato alla morte in pochi minuti. In realtà non è ancora chiaro cosa abbia causato l’incidente, non si esclude che abbia perso il controllo per via della mancanza di esperienza. Certo la tragedia rinfocolerà la querelle sulla sicurezza di questi mezzi, spesso messi all’indice per la loro pericolosità, ma che altrettanto spesso sono usati al di fuori delle norme esistenti. I monopattini sono vietati ai minori di 14 anni. “Questa tragedia mi rattrista, perché è da tempo che chiediamo regole più severe per i monopattini – afferma l’assessore sestese Antonio Lamiranda –.
