Domenica 23 maggio 2021, località vetta del Mottarone, Stresa (VB) … funivia Mottarone, una tragedia inaspettata e neanche lontanamente ipotizzata, sembra sia andata in azione la scena di un film horror per le modalità con cui si è realizzata la drammaticità della cronaca di un disastro… prima il cavo trainante d’acciaio, di notevole spessore, che si trancia, e secondo logica non si sarebbe dovuto assolutamente tranciare, poi il freno di sicurezza che non ha funzionato quando lo stesso è stato sollecitato al suo funzionamento ! E’ davvero incredibile la serie di circostanze che si sono verificate in questo drammatico incidente, si ha la sensazione che ci sia stata… la “mano del diavolo” ! Quattordici morti e un bimbo in prognosi riservata sono il triste epilogo di una “tragedia non annunciata”… son proprio tanti e il modo in cui sono morti è davvero allucinante e soprattutto inspiegabile al momento, concordo su quanto hanno dichiarato i soccorritori, una scena da guerra devastante e così pietosa… tanto da far piangere anche i più duri ed abituati ad assistere a certe immani tragedie, volutamente non cito i particolari. Quel che appaiono davvero sorprendenti e singolari sono le fasi stesse dell’incidente, infatti che si tranci un cavo d’acciaio di quelle dimensione non è certamente cosa semplice e comunque sia… per tranciarsi dev’essere sottoposto ad un enorme pressione e forza che una piccola cabina con 15 persone, tra cui due bambini, certamente non potevano rappresentare un peso così notevole tanto da far collassare il cavo, tra l’altro, almeno così affermano i responsabili della funivia, tutto l’impianto era stato revisionato secondo norma e posto in garanzia di funzionamento dopo i controlli di rito e questo lascia ancor più interdetti gli esperti tecnici e gli investigatori che lavorano sul caso per scoprirne la cause del disastro . Cosa ancor più raccapricciante, a pensarci poi, è il simultaneo blocco del freno di sicurezza, ma tu guarda un po’… la prima volta che viene sollecitato al funzionamento … non ha funzionato, è incredibile. Si è parlato anche delle condizioni meteorologiche come ulteriore elemento aggiuntivo alla rottura, ma i cavi di quella portata sono creati e prodotti proprio per resistere ai forti venti e non mi sembra che ieri fosse una giornata di bufera. E’ davvero un mistero inspiegabile la caduta della cabina ei tanti morti che registriamo, ovviamente aspettiamo che i tecnici formulino le loro deduzioni e poi capiremo il come e perché e risaliremo ai responsabili, perché una cosa è certa, qualcuno ha sbagliato a fare il suo lavoro. Il governatore del Piemonte Alberto Cirio, davanti all’ospedale infantile Regina Margherita di Torino, dà la notizia incoraggiante: “Usciamo dall’ospedale con il cuore colmo di dolore, ma con una speranza in più. Il bimbo ha appena finito la risonanza magnetica e, pur aspettando il bollettino medico, non sono emerse lesioni né al cervello, né al midollo. E non ha subito traumi al volto”. Il direttore generale della Città della Salute Giovanni La Valle conferma: “La risonanza magnetica non ha evidenziato danni neurologici sia a livello celebrale sia a livello del tronco encefalico: questo ci autorizza nella giornata di domani a cominciare un cauto risveglio del bambino”.
